Was New Orleans Jazz’ Relocation successful?

A recent blog discussed the five most successful franchise relocations in NBA history. The number 5 most successful was the Jazz franchise.

The New Orleans Jazz were mostly known as the home (for a short time) of one of the greatest basketball players – Pete Maravich. After strained finances cause a move to Salt Lake City, the Jazz went on 24 playoff appearances and were led by hall of famers Jerry Sloan, Karl Malone and John Stockton. Yes, I consider the relocation successful.

I believe that the relocation to Utah was actually the most successful relocation.
